Lavendon Access Services has seen its first work experience candidate successfully complete his placement. Paul Armstrong gained a 2 week insight into the day to day operations of the UK’s largest powered access rental business, along with practical and theoretical engineering experience.

Lavendon Access Services has scooped the ‘Excellence in Training’ Award at the prestigious Hire Association of Europe’s (HAE) Hire Awards of Excellence. Coming in above a number of its industry peers, Lavendon Access Services, the UK’s leading supplier of powered access, picked up the accolade at the Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony at The Landmark London on 9 May 2009.

Lavendon Access Services has been awarded a Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Silver Award in recognition of its consistently high standards of Health & Safety at work.

Lavendon Access Services is celebrating after picking up the ‘IPAF Contribution to Safe Working at Height – Rental Company’ Award at the prestigious IPAF Awards ceremony held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dublin on Thursday April 2nd. The award was open to all manufacturers, rental firms and end users, and recognises particular safety initiatives or commitments that have delivered significant improvements.
