Panther Lights up Horse Guard's Parade
Just as the sun was setting over the magnificent Horse Guard’s Parade in London, an army of Panther machines provided dramatic lighting for the hundreds of spectators fortunate enough to witness The Household Division Beating Retreat.
Established in 1978, Panther is a UK leader in the hire and sale of powered access equipment.
As one of the first privately owned powered access companies in the UK, Panther opened its first depot in Kensworth, Bedfordshire, not far from their current headquarters in Luton.
After successful expansion over the years through the supply of quality equipment via an expanded national network of well-placed depots, Panther was identified as a leading powered access company by Lavendon Group PLC and, in 2006, became part of the largest specialist powered access provider in the World.
The advantages became immediately apparent, with Panther able to offer an even broader range of machines along with greater UK coverage.
Today Panther, as part of Lavendon Access Services, offers 15000 machines to their customers, via over 70 UK outlets.
2008 has so far been an exciting year for Panther. Kestrel Powered Access and AMP have both already joined the Panther team, and with the recent addition of Higher Platforms, Panther is providing even better coverage and all round service for customers
