European Based Health and Safety Legislation The 'Six-Pack'
The 'six-pack' regulations are six health and safety at work regulations introduced in 1993. They implemented European Union health and safety at work directives meant to ensure that European Union member states had the same standards to allow for fair competition between businesses working within the Union. In the UK these regulations were already effectively in force under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
